Daina's Favourite Pesto Pasta
Fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour, this pasta recipe is a simple way to turn everyday healthy ingredients into something truly satisfying. It’s a quick, wholesome meal that’s perfect for busy evenings, while still delivering plenty of fresh, herb-forward flavour.
Makes 2–3 servings
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups fresh basil
- 3 garlic cloves
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ cup water (or more as needed to thin)
- 2 tbsp Udo’s 3.6.9 Blend
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked pasta of choice
Directions
- Add all ingredients (except the cooked pasta) to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Add more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.
- Toss the pesto with freshly cooked pasta until evenly coated.
Serve immediately and enjoy a bright, fresh take on a classic pasta dish.
